The Embassy of Romania participated in the “Grande Fête de la Francophonie 2009”

 

 

The Embassy of Romania in Washington DC participated on Friday, March 6, 2009 with a presentation stand at the “Grande Fête de la Francophonie”, a traditional event hosted by the French Embassy on the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of the Francophonie.

Guests discovered Romania and its francophone connections while learning about Romania's culture, its great artists Constantin Brancusi, George Enescu and Eugene Ionesco, enjoying traditional foods and Romanian famous wines.
